This 18V SDS-Max 1-9/16 in. Rotary Hammer is powerful enough to provide corded-type performance for tackling heavy-duty concrete drilling or chiseling jobs. The Bosch GBH18V-36C Rotary Hammer delivers 5.2 ft-lbs. of impact energy (EPTA). That is unprecedented for a single 18V battery-driven SDS-max 1-9/16 in. rotary hammer. It weighs 14.3 lbs. (with included battery). This hammer is part of the PROFACTOR System, which pairs BITURBO Brushless Technology with a CORE18V High Power Battery. BITURBO Brushless Technology is a high-performance motor and drivetrain system designed to deliver power comparable to high-demand corded tools. The anti-vibration system features a longer air cushion in the hammer tube and dampeners in the handle. The hammer has KickBack Control, rotary hammer and hammer-only modes, a reverse setting, and Vario-Lock to rotate and lock the chisel. The hammer features an on-tool user interface for tool performance, feedback, and control. This hammer features connectivity (module sold separately). The kit includes 2 CORE18V 12 Ah High Power Batteries, which each deliver equal power and at least 50 percent more runtime than the CORE18V 8 Ah battery, powering high-demand applications. The kit has a GAL18V-160C battery turbo charger, which provides a 16 Amp charging current for fast and faster charging, with an optional Power Boost mode.
